The protection of historical memory regarding the Great Victory, the preservation of historical truth, and the joint struggle against any attempts to distort history remain priority areas for the parliamentarians of the CSTO member states. These efforts serve as vital unifying factors for the organization.
The shared victory and heroism of the peoples of the former Soviet Union constitute a solid moral foundation for the development of allied relations and the strengthening of collective security in the modern era.
