On March 25, at the invitation of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Amirzoda Orif, Chairman of the Ecology Commission of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, participated in a meeting of the Expert Council on Ecology and Nature Management. The event was held in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation.
During the session, Mr. Orif delivered a comprehensive report titled "Key Issues of Water Resource Sources and Drinking Water Supply in Tajikistan."
He also participated in an interview with the "MIR" television channel, where he discussed critical water and climate issues. The interview highlighted Tajikistan’s various global initiatives regarding the international water-climate agenda.
