Within the framework of a working visit, a meeting was held between Faizali Idizoda, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Khalid Al-Khattaf, Chairman of the Investment Development Agency of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in the field of investment, paying particular attention to expanding economic and trade relations and implementing joint projects.
The Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon highlighted the Republic of Tajikistan's existing economic potential, favorable investment climate, and reforms implemented by the Government of Tajikistan in the investment sector. He noted that strengthening cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is in the best interests of both countries.
“We express our support for advancing investment relations between our countries,” stated Faizali Idizoda at the conclusion of the meeting. “We consider it necessary to exchange experience, establish ongoing dialogue, conduct reciprocal visits, activate friendship groups and inter-parliamentary cooperation, and participate in each other’s events in this area.”
