Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ibrohimzoda Nematullo, held a meeting in Jaihun District with activists, veterans, women, and youth. The purpose of the meeting was to explain and elaborate on the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, “On the Main Directions of the Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic,” delivered on December 16, 2025.
It was noted that the year 2025 was a year full of achievements and successes for the honorable people of independent Tajikistan. This year saw the adoption of agreements and the strengthening of everlasting friendship among neighboring countries – the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. It was also a year of dedicated efforts toward the prosperity and development of the Motherland and preparation for the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In his latest Address, the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, stated that in this year of numerous achievements and successes across all areas of statehood, elections of deputies to the Majlisi Namoyandagon, local councils of people’s deputies, and members of the Majlisi Milli of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan were also held.
The Head of State highlighted the results of ten years of measures undertaken by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to ensure economic growth and development. These measures included the implementation of national development programs and strategies aimed at improving the standard and quality of life of the population.
During this period, more than 670 billion somoni were allocated for ensuring the country's socio-economic development from all sources of financing, including 159 billion somoni in foreign investment.
At the conclusion of the meeting, People’s Deputy Ibrohimzoda Nematullo answered the proposals, requests, and questions of the voters.
