On December 27, 2025, the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faizali Idizoda, received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Tajikistan, Walid bin Abdulrahman Al-Reshaidan, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the current level of relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It was noted that as a result of high-level political dialogue between the two countries, mutually beneficial relations have been developing steadily, and the legal framework of cooperation between the two friendly states has been strengthening.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current international situation, cooperation in ensuring regional security, as well as political and economic relations, trade and investment, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Particular attention was paid to increasing the volume of trade turnover, expanding the structure of mutual trade, and attracting more Saudi investors to various sectors of the economy of Tajikistan.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
