Today, in the city of Vahdat, First Deputy Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Shermuhammad Shohiyon, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on Control of Guidelines and Organization of Work, Shuhrat Ghanizoda, and Deputy of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, Farzona Khojazoda, held a meeting with constituents to explain and discuss the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Leader Emomali Rahmon, to the Majlisi Oli “On the Main Directions of Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic,” delivered on December 16, 2025.
During the meeting, the key points of the President’s Address were discussed, including analysis of the country’s economic development over the past 10 years; implementing strategic planning documents; creating legal foundations for transitioning to a digital economy and the use of artificial intelligence; achieving national strategic goals; improving living standards through increased salaries, scholarships, pensions, and minimum wages; preparing and adopting new laws, including the Law on Agrarian Policy, the Law on Archaeology, and other legislative acts; Tasks in the fields of education, culture, healthcare, labor and employment, youth, women, foreign policy, and other areas.
It was noted that the residents of Vahdat fully support the President’s Address and the course of state-building established by the Founder of Peace and National Unity – President Emomali Rahmon – as well as the policies of the Government of Tajikistan. They are actively contributing to the gradual implementation of these policies at the local level.
As a result of the dedicated and patriotic efforts of the residents of Vahdat, construction and development projects continue steadily, improving the appearance of streets, neighborhoods, and overall living standards.
At the conclusion of the meeting, constituents presented their questions and requests to the deputies and received clear and satisfactory answers.
