On 23 December 2025, in the hall of the Local Executive Authority of Shamsiddin Shohin District, a meeting was held with district activists to explain the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Majlisi Oli and other pressing issues. The meeting was conducted by Saidvalizoda Barno, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on Law and Order, Defense, and Security.
Saidvalizoda Barno emphasized that the President’s Address “On the Main Directions of Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic of Tajikistan” is an official and important programmatic document that defines the social, economic, cultural, and political development of Tajikistan.
It was noted that the President stressed that improving the living standards and quality of life of the population is a primary goal of the state and government, and all necessary measures will continue to be taken in this regard. Every citizen and family should responsibly maintain and clean their homes, streets, and neighborhoods, demonstrating civic responsibility and national consciousness.
In his Address, the President declared 2026 as the “Year of Expanding Development and Construction Works and Strengthening National Self-Awareness and Identity.”
Saidvalizoda also spoke on issues related to women and youth, sports, education, culture, healthcare, social protection, security and stability, prevention of terrorism and xenophobia, and other important topics highlighted in the President’s Address to the Majlisi Oli.
At the conclusion of the meeting, constituents presented their questions and requests to the deputy and received detailed and satisfactory answers.
