As previously reported, the joint meeting of the Council and the eighteenth Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization is currently underway in Moscow, Russian Federation.
Prior to the opening of the session, the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faizali Idizoda, together with the heads of the parliaments of the CSTO member states, laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin in honor of the victims of the Great Patriotic War.
The heads of the CSTO parliaments and their accompanying delegations also familiarized themselves with a historical and patriotic exhibition titled “The Great Victory,” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
On display were more than 700 rare World War II–related documents from 50 museums across the Russian Federation and Belarus.
