It was emphasized with satisfaction that these relations are underpinned by more than 94 international agreements at the interstate, intergovernmental, and interdepartmental levels, reflecting the effectiveness of the diplomatic efforts of both sides.
“The significant and unique achievements in our bilateral relations,” stated Faizali Idizoda, “are the result of sustained efforts, sincere friendship, and the political will shared between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the esteemed Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Heydar oglu Aliyev.”
In this context, he highlighted the role and importance of key documents, including the Declaration of Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, signed during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan on 23 May 2024. This declaration will provide additional impetus for the long-term development of bilateral relations.
