The First Sitting of the Second Session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan of the Seventh Convocation

     Today, under the chairmanship of Faizali Idizoda, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the first sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the 7th convocation was held. Following the election of the Secretariat for the first sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, in accordance with the relevant provisions of Guidelines of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, the Commission for Counting Deputies’ Votes, the Group for Monitoring the Electronic Voting System, and the Order of Coverage for the sitting were established.

During the sitting, several important issues and agreements were reviewed and approved, including:

• The Agreement on the Procedure for the Formation and Execution of the Budget of the Secretariat of the “Central Asia – China” Format;
• The Loan Agreement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Saudi Development Fund for the “Construction of the Bypass Road in Kulob City” project;
• Agreement on Amendment No. 1 to the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the ‘Water Supply and Sewerage of Kulob City’ Project
• The Convention on the Trans-boundary Effects of Industrial Accidents dated March 17, 1992;
• The Loan Agreement between the Qatar Development Fund and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan for the construction of the main dam of the Rogun Hydropower Plant for 2025;
• The Investment Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Limited Liability Company “KM Muosir” for the construction and operation of an industrial enterprise in the Danghara District, Khatlon Region
• The Investment Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Limited Liability Company “Filizzot” for the construction of an industrial complex
• Additional Agreement No. 2 to the Electricity Purchase Agreement between the Open Joint Stock Company “Barqi Tojik” and the Project Management Company of the Sangtuda-Sangob Hydroelectric Power Plant dated January 17, 2006;
• The draft resolution of the Majlis Nmaoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Proposal of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the Appointment of Shuhrat Ahmadzoda as the Chief Auditor of the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Tajikistan.”

All agenda items were thoroughly discussed and relevant decisions were adopted.

The agenda items were presented to the deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Legal Issues – the Authorized Representative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Majlisi Milli and the Majlisi Namoyandagon, Alizoda Zarif; the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, Qahhorzoda Fayziddin; the Head of the State Service for Industrial Safety and Mining Supervision under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahim San’at; the Chairman of the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahimzoda Sulton; the Deputy Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khudobakhsh Sharifa; the Chairman of the Committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon on Economy and Finance, Ashurzoda Ghiyosiddin; the Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon on Economy and Finance, Nabizoda Tohir; members of the Committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon on Economy and Finance – Nabotzoda Siyovush, Hakimzoda Hamidjon, Ishoqi Husniya, Sobirzoda Ghafurjon; members of the Committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon on Energy, Industry, Construction, and Communications – Niyazov Nurali and Hasanzoda Nasrullo.
