Today, in the hall of the Palace of Culture of Varzob District, Muhammadullo Sheralizoda, Chairman of the Committee on Energy, Industry, Construction, and Communications of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, met with voters from the rural jamoats of Varzobqala, Sadriddin Aini, Luchob, and Chorbog in Varzob District.
During the meeting, Muhammadullo Sheralizoda emphasized that the Parliament of Tajikistan consistently strives to improve the quality and effectiveness of legislation to promote a dignified standard of living for its citizens. The legislative work program for the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the seventh convocation includes 37 draft laws, seven of which are comprehensive, fully developed laws.
He also highlighted the significant role of the Founder of Peace and National Unity -Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon - in the process of building a national state and advancing the country’s independence and freedom.
Inter-parliamentary relations remain a key priority for the Majlisi Namoyandagon. During the first session, friendship and cooperation groups were established with 70 countries and eight international and regional organizations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, local residents and community activists shared their views on the topics discussed and received clear and satisfactory answers to their questions and concerns.
