At the meeting of the faction of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan in the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Lower House) of the Majlisi Oli (Supreme Assembly) of the Republic of Tajikistan, the issue of “the role of the high-level international conference, the Dushanbe Process-2025, in the formation of state unions and strengthening global cooperation on water, climate, and glacier protection” was discussed.
In particular, it was noted that in the rapidly changing conditions of the modern world, the international community faces various threats and conflicts, along with numerous problems, one of which is the adverse phenomenon of global climate change and its negative impact, which is natural.
The current situation shows that the impact of climate change on planet Earth has placed the process of formation and development of world countries before serious and substantive problems.
In recent years, environmental risks such as climate change, air pollution, the trend of increasing emissions, excessive aerosol release, glacier degradation and reduction, growing demographic challenges, lack of drinking water, and other adverse phenomena have become global in nature, and their negative effects are felt in all countries around the world.
