It was also highlighted that, thanks to the visionary initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, issues related to water resources, climate, and glacier preservation have become important priorities on the global agenda.
“Today, the Seven Lakes of Tajikistan stand as an example of the harmonious coexistence of nature and sustainable human activity. We are confident that the development of ecotourism, the organization of international events such as this, and the promotion of our country's unique natural heritage will further increase the number of visitors to Tajikistan,” the Chairman stated.
The primary objectives of the event are to promote a healthy lifestyle, encourage the development of ecotourism, enhance environmental awareness, and showcase the Republic of Tajikistan's unique natural and tourism potential to the international community.
At the conclusion of the competition, the winners and prize recipients will be honored with awards and commemorative prizes.
As part of the event, an environmental campaign to clean the shoreline of the Seven Lakes was also organized. Participants actively took part in community clean-up activities aimed at protecting the environment and preserving the cleanliness of one of the country's most beautiful natural landmarks.
