On June 26, 2026, the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a conference to adopt the United Nations General Assembly resolution entitled "International Decade for the Strengthening of Peace for Future Generations (2027-2036)."
The conference began with a welcoming speech by Bakhodur Sheralizoda, Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection, who noted the historic significance of the adoption of this resolution and the role of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, in advancing international peacebuilding and humanitarian assistance initiatives.
