On July 7, 2026, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, as part of his working visit to Shahriston District, remotely inaugurated a rare tree nursery located in the Khurramdara area.
The nursery was established as part of the practical implementation of the State Greening Program of the Republic of Tajikistan through 2040. Covering an area of more than 5 hectares, it cultivates over 7,500 rare, ornamental and shade trees using modern cultivation methods.
