Today, the national festival of Tirgon was celebrated with great solemnity at Iram Park in Dushanbe, bringing together senior officials and representatives of ministries and government agencies, scientists and experts, agricultural workers, as well as residents and guests of the capital.
As part of the celebration, exhibitions showcasing the achievements of scientific institutions in the sector and modern production technologies were presented. During a visit to the exhibition booth of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Deputy Prime Minister Ziyozoda Sulaymon Rizoi reviewed the displayed achievements. It was emphasized that Tirgon is one of the ancient festivals of the Tajik people and symbolizes abundance, a rich harvest, respect for the hard work of farmers, and appreciation of the nation's cultural and traditional values.
The cultural program, featuring patriotic songs, musical performances, and demonstrations of traditional folk crafts, added a special charm to the event and created a festive atmosphere for all participants.
