On June 20, 2026, as part of the preparations for the celebration of the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan organized an environmental campaign entitled “Clean Shore” under the slogan “My City – My Home.” The event was held on the right bank of the Dushanbe River in the Firdavsi District of Dushanbe.
During the campaign, the leadership and staff of the Committee’s central office, its subordinate structures in Dushanbe, representatives of relevant institutions of the Executive Authority of Dushanbe City, as well as volunteers and community activists, actively participated in collective efforts to improve environmental cleanliness and sanitation, making a significant contribution to environmental protection.
Such important environmental initiatives will continue to be held every Saturday within the framework of the declaration of 2026 as the “Year of Expanding Beautification and Construction Activities and Strengthening National Identity and Self-Awareness.”
These campaigns support the constructive initiatives of the Chairman of Dushanbe City, Rustam Emomali, aimed at making the capital greener and more attractive, promoting environmental awareness, fostering appreciation for cleanliness and beauty, and enhancing the ecological culture of the population. Through these activities, roads, streets, and public areas are cleaned of waste that detracts from the natural beauty and environmental quality of the city.
