From May 21 to May 25 of this year, due to expected heavy rainfall with a risk of mudflows, mudflow events are forecast in some districts of the republican subordination areas, Khatlon and Sughd regions, as well as the western part of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.
At the same time, rising water levels are possible in the Isfara, Zarafshon, Obikhingou, Vakhsh, Panj, Yakhsu, Kyzylsu (southern) rivers, as well as in rivers flowing from the southern slopes of the Hissar Range.
Citizens are advised to observe safety precautions during adverse weather conditions.
