Dear colleagues,
This year marks the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This historic date stands as a symbol of courage, resilience, and the unbreakable spirit of nations, as well as an eternal remembrance of the selflessness of millions of people who sacrificed their lives to protect freedom and secure the future of coming generations.
The Second World War is considered one of the most tragic chapters in human history. In this decisive struggle, the sons of Tajikistan also made a worthy contribution, demonstrating unparalleled heroism on the battlefields. More than 260,000 people from Tajikistan were mobilized to the front, and thousands of them gave their lives in defense of the Motherland. Their names and heroic deeds will forever remain in the memory of the nation.
At the same time, the contribution of the home front was also significant. The people of the country worked day and night, providing the armed forces with everything necessary. This devotion likewise remains a remarkable example of patriotism.
Victory Day is a symbol of peace, unity, and a tranquil life for all of us. In today’s world, when humanity faces various threats and challenges, preserving peace, stability, and national security is the sacred duty of each of us. At the same time, our responsibility for environmental protection is growing. Preserving nature, water and land resources, and improving the environmental situation are our genuine contributions to ensuring a healthy future for society and future generations.
Taking this opportunity, I sincerely congratulate all of you — employees of the environmental protection sector, nature lovers, partners, and environmental activists — on the 81st anniversary of the Victory of the countries of the former Soviet Union. I wish you strong health, happiness, and new achievements in your professional activities.
May our beloved Tajikistan always remain in an atmosphere of peace, stability, development, and prosperity!
Happy Victory Day!
