In the conference hall of the Main Department for Environmental Protection in the Sughd Region, two seminars were held in one day with the aim of improving the knowledge level of employees of the department and its structural subdivisions in cities and districts.
During the seminars, participants were provided with information on the following topics: “Legal foundations and prospects of the Committee for Environmental Protection regarding the pesticide registration system,” “The list of permitted and prohibited agrochemical substances, proposals for further differentiation of the classification of pesticides and agrochemicals,” as well as “Guidelines and the pesticide registration system.” The information was delivered by technical and legal experts.
In the concluding part of the seminars, answers were provided to questions from specialists of environmental protection departments in cities and districts, as well as representatives of associations and companies engaged in the import of agrochemical substances.
