On April 18 of the current year, at the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and with the support of local executive authorities, a regular campaign titled “Clean Environment” and “Clean Highways” was carried out along the Dushanbe - Vahdat, Vahdat - Norak and Norak - Dangara highways. The event was held as part of preparations for the worthy celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During this environmental initiative, residents from various professions collectively participated in a community clean-up, cleaning residential neighborhoods, parks and squares, areas near shopping and service centers, as well as roadside zones. At the same time, overgrown grass was cut and the areas were put in order.
This initiative continues actively in all cities and districts of the republic, contributing to cleanliness and improvement of public spaces, as well as raising the level of environmental awareness among the population.
