As part of beautification and development initiatives, as well as efforts to improve the environmental situation, tree-planting campaigns were held in the Vanj and Shugnon districts and in the city of Khorog. The events were attended by Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Loiq Rahmonzoda, along with local authorities.
In Shugnon district, the event took place with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region and the district chairman. During the event, it was emphasized that such initiatives play a significant role in enhancing environmental beauty and promoting development and improvement efforts.
Continuing these activities, a tree-planting campaign dedicated to the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the city of Khorog. The Deputy Chairman of the region and the city mayor took part in the event. During the campaign, shade and ornamental trees were planted along both sides of the city’s international road.
Similarly, in Vanj district, a tree-planting event was held with the participation of the district chairman and employees of various institutions and organizations. Its goal was to improve the environmental situation and contribute to the district’s development. Participants, demonstrating a strong sense of patriotism, made a valuable contribution to greening the environment and highlighted the importance of nature conservation.
Such campaigns are an important step toward environmental protection, raising public ecological awareness, and improving the appearance and sustainability of cities and districts.
