According to the schedule approved by the Chairman of the Committee, final meetings were held across the regions, cities, and districts of the republic to summarize the activities of the Committee's structural subdivisions for the first quarter of the current year, with the participation of the leadership of the Committee for Environmental Protection.
In particular, summary meetings were held at the Agency for Meteorology and Hydrology, the main environmental protection directorates of Khatlon Region and the city of Dushanbe, the environmental protection directorate in the Kulob region, departments and units of NTM, central apparatus structures, as well as at centers and institutions with the participation of the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Shukurzoda Isfandiyor. In addition, meetings of the MD “Specially Protected Natural Areas,” the Center for Analytical and Diagnostic Control, and other subordinate structures were held with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Rahmonzoda Loik, and other responsible officials of the sector. The main purpose of these meetings was to summarize the results of work, identify shortcomings, and determine priority directions for the upcoming periods.
At the meetings, the sector’s performance for the first quarter of 2026 was generally assessed as satisfactory, while it was emphasized that, to implement the instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and prepare for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of Independence, landscaping and greening efforts should be further strengthened. The aim of these measures is to ensure a healthy environment and to welcome the national holiday with significant constructive achievements.
