Taking into account the implementation of the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, regarding environmental protection and improving the ecological situation in the country, including the implementation of the “State Program for Greening the Republic of Tajikistan until 2040,” and in accordance with the 2026 plan for participation and speeches of members of the Coordination and Methodological Council on legal education and upbringing of citizens of the region, as well as other state bodies, three employees of the Main Department for Environmental Protection of the Sogd Region took part in the live broadcast of the “Payvand” program on Sogd regional television.
The topic of the program was devoted to “The process of practical implementation of the State Program for greening the country until 2040, increasing environmental awareness among citizens, as well as the state of environmental protection in the Sogd Region.”
It should be noted that organizing such programs makes a significant contribution to the development of environmental education, awareness, and culture among the population. During the live broadcast, the host and residents of the cities and districts of Khujand, B. Gafurov, Panjakent, J. Rasulov, Mastchoh, and Devashtich asked questions to the staff of the Main Department, most of which were answered clearly within the allotted time of the television program.
