Dear colleagues,
Dear admirers of the unique nature of our beloved Tajikistan,
The blessed and joyful arrival of the International Navruz, entering our sunny country in an atmosphere of peace, stability, and national unity, illuminates everything around us with light and fills our hearts with joy and hope. This ancient holiday, rooted deep in history and refined over thousands of years, is today celebrated with special grandeur as a symbol of national identity and the revival of nature.
It is gratifying that, thanks to the wise initiative and constructive policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, Navruz was granted international status on February 23, 2010, at the 64th session of the United Nations General Assembly under the agenda “Culture of Peace.” For 16 years now, this celebration of nature’s awakening has been observed in many countries around the world.
At one of the events dedicated to Navruz, the Head of State, respected Emomali Rahmon, noted: “Navruz, with whose arrival the life-giving warmth of spring begins, is rightly called a celebration of the greatness and revival of nature. Indeed, Navruz is a time when the Earth aligns with the Sun, day and night become equal, and all living beings gain new inspiration, striving toward a bright future, a prosperous life, and creative development.”
Today, thanks to State Independence, the noble traditions of our ancestors have gained new meaning, and Navruz is celebrated as a holiday of spiritual purity, respect for nature, and reverence for national values. These days encourage us to care for the environment and to make a worthy contribution to preserving the beautiful nature of our homeland.
I sincerely congratulate all employees in the field of environmental protection and all admirers of our country’s unique nature on the International Holiday of Navruz! I wish you, above all, strong health, well-being, peace, prosperity, comfort in your homes, joy in life, and the fulfillment of all your good intentions and bright hopes.
May Navruz be a happy occasion for you, and may every day be like Navruz!
