With the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Ziyozoda Sulaymon Rizo, Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon, and the heads of districts in the Rasht region, a tree-planting campaign was held in the districts of Nurabad, Rasht, Tajikobod, and Lakhsh. In the designated areas of these districts, more than 5,000 evergreen and ornamental trees were planted.
Useful recommendations on the cultivation of the planted trees were also provided to the responsible officials.
Currently, taking advantage of favorable weather conditions, practical initiatives for tree planting and landscaping are continuing in all cities and districts of the country as part of the objectives of the State Greening Program of Tajikistan until 2040.
At the same time, improvement, construction, and cleanliness activities within the framework of preparations for the worthy celebration of the international holiday of Navruz have gained new momentum.
