On March 6 of the current year, a festive meeting dedicated to Mother’s Day was held in the conference hall of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was opened by the Chairman of the Committee, Bahodur Sheralizoda, who in his congratulatory speech extended warm greetings to women, mothers, and all representatives of the fair sex on this significant holiday. In his remarks, he noted that Mother’s Day is celebrated every year at the beginning of the beautiful spring season and symbolizes the revival and blossoming of nature, while also heralding the approach of the international holiday of Navruz. The Chairman highly appreciated the important role and significant contribution of women and mothers to the development of society and to the advancement of activities in the field of environmental protection. He wished the female employees of the Committee good health, happiness, prosperity, and new achievements in their professional activities.
It was especially noted that women and mothers are under the constant attention and care of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and that every year more favorable conditions and opportunities are created in the country for their work and education.
During the continuation of the event, a deputy of the Assembly of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan, Zarafo Kiyomzoda, congratulated women and mothers on the holiday, emphasizing the high status of women in society and their important role in raising a healthy and patriotic generation. It was highlighted that women and mothers, as symbols of love and warmth, make a significant contribution to the development of society.
Also speaking at the event was Sitora Saydamirova, a representative of the Committee’s Council of Women, who on behalf of the women expressed gratitude to the Head of State and the leadership of the Committee for their constant attention and support for women, as well as for creating favorable conditions for their activities.
At the end of the event, all women of the Committee were presented with spring flowers and monetary gifts on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
The festive event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, in the spirit of respect for the Woman - Mother - a symbol of spring and beauty, an adornment of life and a source of warmth that inspires the renewal of nature and the celebration of Navruz.
