Within the framework of the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation and President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, presented in his Address to the Majlisi Oli, and in order to implement the “State Program for Greening the Republic of Tajikistan until 2040,” a tree-planting campaign was organized in the city of Isfara aimed at improving the environmental situation and increasing green spaces.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Bahodur Sheralizoda, the Mayor of Isfara Sharifjon Jumazoda, and the Head of the Main Department for Environmental Protection of the Sughd Region Suhrob Kholзода.
During the event, a total of 1,200 saplings of ornamental, shade, and fruit trees were planted in the Nurafshon area, along the Isfara highway and in the city cultural and recreational park.
The Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Bahodur Sheralizoda and the Mayor of Isfara, Sharifjon Jumazoda, also visited the nursery of the environmental protection department.
According to the environmental protection department, the nursery has been established on an area of 1 hectare, and currently about 28,000 shade and ornamental tree saplings are being cultivated there.
