Dear colleagues,
On February 23 of this year, we mark the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the National Army of the Republic of Tajikistan. This important historical date is one of the most significant achievements of the period of our country’s State Independence.
The Day of the Establishment of the National Army is not only a professional holiday of servicemen, but also a nationwide celebration - a symbol of independence, state stability, and a guarantee of the country’s security. The National Army embodies the strong will of the people, serves as a reliable shield protecting the borders of the Motherland, and represents a symbol of the state independence of the Tajik people.
On February 23, 1993, the creation of the National Army of the Republic of Tajikistan was officially proclaimed, marking the beginning of a new stage in the history of modern Tajik statehood. Its formation took place under extremely difficult political and socio - economic conditions, when the country faced serious internal and external challenges. Despite this, thanks to the firm will and wise state policy of the country’s top leadership, the foundations of the National Army were laid and gradually strengthened.
Under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, the National Army has transformed into a powerful and well-organized military structure, with its legal, organizational, and logistical foundations significantly strengthened. The professionalism, discipline, and responsibility of servicemen have consistently improved, and the country’s defense potential has been reinforced.
Today, the National Army of Tajikistan serves as a reliable guarantor of the protection of national interests and the maintenance of peace and stability. It possesses experienced personnel, the necessary equipment, and a high spirit of patriotism.
We, employees of the environmental protection sector, must also contribute to strengthening the country’s economic and defense potential through the conscientious performance of our professional duties - exercising state control in the field of environmental protection and the rational use of natural resources. Only in conditions of peace and stability can society engage in constructive work and promote the sustainable development of our Motherland.
On the eve of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the National Army of the Republic of Tajikistan, I sincerely congratulate all employees of the environmental protection sector and all admirers of the beautiful nature of our country on this significant national holiday.
I wish each of you and all devoted defenders of the Motherland good health, strength of spirit, peace, and new professional achievements.
