At the initiative of the Department of Environmental Protection in the Varzob District, a tree planting campaign was held on the hills of the Chorbog rural jamoat, in the village named after R. Abdulloev, with the participation of the Chairman of Varzob District, employees of the local executive body of state authority, and more than 200 residents.
During the event, more than 1,000 coniferous spruce saplings were planted in compliance with agrotechnical requirements.
The main objective of the campaign is to improve and green the environment, enhance the ecological situation, prevent soil erosion, strengthen green zones, and raise environmental awareness among the population. Timely irrigation and soil loosening have been arranged for the planted saplings, and continuous monitoring is being carried out by sector specialists.
It should be noted that such initiatives are regularly conducted within the framework of the implementation of state programs on environmental protection and the expansion of landscaping and greening activities, contributing to environmental improvement and the creation of favorable living conditions for the population.
