On February 9, 2026, a control meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon. During the meeting, the results of the Committee’s activities for January of the current year were reviewed and analyzed.
Other key issues were also discussed, including preparations for upcoming events and celebrations, such as the International Nowruz Holiday, the Conference dedicated to the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018 - 2028,” as well as the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. Within the framework of preparations for these events, specific instructions were given to the responsible officials.
During the meeting, instructions were also issued on the comprehensive summarization of completed programs and the development of new sectoral programs, the renewal of public commissions, the strengthening of cooperation with public organizations, the timely and high-quality implementation of assignments, the involvement of eco-volunteers and eco-journalists in sector-related issues, as well as other matters related to relevant structures.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the protocol of the Committee’s control meeting, taking into account the submitted reports, proposals, and issued instructions, was approved and sent to the responsible structures for appropriate follow-up actions.
