In order to attract a greater number of citizens to landscaping and beautification activities within the framework of the spring sapling planting campaign of 2026, as well as to ensure the implementation of the action plan of the “State Program for Greening of the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period up to 2040,” which предусматривает the planting of 64,800 saplings in the city of Istaravshan in 2026, a number of measures are being undertaken by the city’s Environmental Protection Department.
Employees of the environmental protection authorities are carrying out explanatory and advocacy activities among citizens and residents of urban and rural jamoats. One of these measures was the installation by the Environmental Protection Department of a large-scale advertising board - a promotional banner with the slogan “Let’s Plant Trees” - along the city’s main transportation route in Istaravshan.
