Nature lovers and environmental defenders of Tajikistan,
I extend my sincere congratulations to you — employees of environmental protection authorities, development partners, as well as nature lovers and environmental defenders — on the occasion of the upcoming New Year 2026.
The outgoing year 2025 became a year of intensive work and significant achievements for the Committee for Environmental Protection and for all sectors of the economy and social sphere of the country. Under the wise and far-sighted leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, our country entered an important stage of strengthening state policy and implementing the strategic goals of the state and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, including in the field of nature protection and environmental safety of the population.
All these achievements are the result of the conscientious work, high sense of responsibility, and dedication of employees of environmental protection authorities, as well as the constant support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. Taking this opportunity, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for your valuable contribution to environmental protection.
The New Year 2026 will mark a period of new opportunities and important tasks for us. In preparation for the nationwide jubilee — the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the country — the Committee and its subordinate bodies intend to intensify their professional activities, effectively utilize all available resources and capacities, more widely apply modern technologies, and expand cooperation with relevant institutions to preserve a healthy environment and the rich natural heritage of Tajikistan for future generations.
