On December 30, 2025, a summary meeting on the results of activities of the State Institution “Specially Protected Natural Areas” and its subordinate structures for 2025 was held in the conference hall of the institution under the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The meeting was organized with the aim of conducting a comprehensive analysis of the implementation of assignments and the work plan of the institution for 2025, assessing key performance indicators, and identifying priority areas for further activities.
During the meeting, reports by the management of the institution and representatives of subordinate structures were presented. Key issues were discussed, including the development of tourism in specially protected natural areas, strengthening environmental protection measures, enhancing control and monitoring activities, and increasing the effectiveness of subordinate structures.
The meeting was attended by and addressed by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Loiq Rahmonzoda. In his speech, the Deputy Chairman positively assessed the results achieved by the institution and provided a number of specific recommendations and instructions aimed at further improving performance indicators, increasing staff responsibility, and strengthening oversight.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the results of the institution’s activities for 2025 were summarized, and priority tasks and an action plan for the next quarter were defined.
It was emphasized that the institution’s future activities should focus on strengthening the system for the protection of specially protected natural areas, improving the level of management, and ensuring high-quality implementation of statutory responsibilities.
