In accordance with the instructions and directives of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and in order to implement the “State Greening Program of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2040,” a sapling planting campaign was carried out in the Sughd Region.
The event was attended by the Head of the Main Department for Environmental Protection of the Sughd Region, Sukhrob Kholзода, the First Deputy Chairman of Bobojon Gafurov District, Abduahad Hakimzoda, as well as the First Deputy Chairman of Jabbor Rasulov District, Bahodur Akramzoda.
The sapling planting campaign was conducted on sites along the Khujand–Dushanbe–Chanak highway, as well as on the Dehmoy–Kanibadam road, where ornamental and shade trees were planted.
The main objective of this initiative is to improve the environmental situation, enhance roadside landscaping, prevent soil erosion, and create a favorable and healthy environment for the population.
The consistent implementation of such activities within the framework of state programs contributes to sustainable development, environmental protection, and the enhancement of ecological awareness in society.
