In accordance with the work plan, employees of the Environmental Protection Department in the city of Istaravshan, in cooperation with the State Institution “City Forestry,” carried out biotechnical activities in the Navobod area.
Biotechnical measures are organized annually during the winter period, especially in mountainous regions, with the aim of preventing the death of wild animals and providing them with additional feed. Within the framework of this event, the necessary measures were implemented to protect wildlife during the winter frosts.
The implementation of such measures contributes to maintaining ecological balance, protecting biodiversity, and preventing losses among wild animals, and is one of the important areas of activity of environmental protection authorities.
