During a scheduled control operation in the field of wildlife protection in the steppe area of Navobod, within the Loiq Sherali jamoat of the city of Panjakent, an administrative offence report was issued against two citizens for illegally capturing a songbird — the goldfinch, in accordance with Article 44 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Environmental Protection” and Article 223 of the Administrative Offences Code of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Committee for Environmental Protection calls on all citizens of the country to refrain from such illegal actions, as liability measures will be applied to them in accordance with the legislation.
Conversely, driven by patriotism and love for nature, citizens are encouraged to feed the country’s rare animals during the winter season and protect them from extinction.
