On December 8 of the current year, a regular meeting of the Committee was held under the chairmanship of Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon, Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The meeting considered issues related to summing up the results of the Committee’s activities and those of its structural subdivisions over the past 11 months of 2025, as well as tasks for the final completion of activities in 2025.
Heads of the main departments for environmental protection in the regions and regional offices of the republic also participated in the meeting in a remote format.
In accordance with the meeting agenda, the Head of the Department of Monitoring, Environmental Policy, Meteorology and Cadastre, Ibodulloi Mahmadullo, presented a detailed analytical report on the performance of the Committee’s structures and its subordinate units at the local level for the given period.
After hearing the reports of the responsible officials on their respective areas of activity, the Chairman of the Committee held a discussion and gave specific instructions, including on the implementation of state strategies and programs, action plans, strengthening control activities and timely detection of violations, promotion of environmental awareness, labor discipline and execution of departmental documents, as well as on other sectoral issues and the preparation of comprehensive measures for 2026.
Taking into account the presented reports, expressed proposals and given instructions, the relevant decision of the meeting under the Chairmanship of the Committee was adopted and sent to the responsible officials for necessary action.
