From 27 to 29 November 2025, the 30th regular session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) was held in the city of Geneva, Swiss Confederation.
Within the framework of this event, Tajikistan’s experience related to the Fourth Environmental Performance Review was discussed, which was the first to be adopted among the 56 member states of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
At the beginning of the session, a video message by the chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon, was presented, highlighting the country’s experience in the field of environmental protection as well as the essence and significance of the Fourth Environmental Performance Review.
