On November 17 of this year, under the chairmanship of the Head of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sheralizoda Bahodur Akhmadjon, a regular meeting of the Committee was held, during which sectoral issues were reviewed.
During the meeting, the results of activities for October and the tasks for the upcoming month were discussed, and a review was conducted regarding the work of the Committee’s centers and institutions. The Head of the Department of monitoring, Environmental policy, hydrometeorology, and cadastre, Ibdulloi Mahmadullo, presented a detailed analytical report on the performance of the Committee’s supervisory structures and its subordinate organizations.
Then, the heads of departments of state supervision, sectoral centers, and institutions presented their reports on the work performed, achievements, and existing issues.
At the end of the presentations, the Chairman of the Committee, heard from each responsible employee and gave specific instructions regarding the implementation of state strategies and programs, activity plans, strengthening supervisory work, timely detection of legal violations, promotion of environmental awareness through mass media, preparation for the tree-planting season, observance of labor discipline, fulfillment of departmental documents, and other relevant issues. Based on the reviewed reports, proposals, and issued instructions, an appropriate decision of the meeting under the Chairman of the Committee was adopted and forwarded to the responsible individuals for necessary action.
