A ceremonial meeting was held in the conference hall of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of Sughd Region on the occasion of the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, with the participation of Gulkhehra Dehqonova, a representative of the Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in the city of Khujand.
The Head of the Main Department, Kholzoda Suhrob, opened the meeting by recalling the historic event of the oath-taking ceremony and the inauguration of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan at the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the country.
It was noted that the policy pursued by the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, obliges every citizen to direct all their strength, capabilities, knowledge, and experience toward achieving the goals of the state and the Government in strengthening the foundations of modern statehood in Tajikistan and improving the well-being of the population.
In turn, the representative of the Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Khujand, Gulkhehra Dehqonova, expressed her views on the role and authority of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, on the international stage, on his greatest achievement the establishment of peace and national unity as well as on his ongoing efforts and care aimed at the development and prosperity of our country.
At the conclusion of the meeting, party activists were awarded letters of appreciation from the Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in Khujand for their significant contribution to enhancing the authority and role of the party in society, as well as for their active participation in promoting the ideas of patriotism and national self-awareness.
