On October 25, 2025, the International Forum “Bridge of Trust and Development” was held at the Hilton Hotel in Dushanbe with the participation of representatives from the state authorities of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, regulatory bodies, members of the professional financial community, international experts, and a delegation from the Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The event opened with welcoming speeches by Faiziddin Sattor Kakhkhorzoda, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Isfandiyor Shukurzoda, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Alizar Khokiyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Tajikistan; and Dr. Hojjatollah Seydi, Chairman of the Board of the Securities and Exchange Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The forum included experience-sharing sessions on regulatory practices, as well as workshops dedicated to Islamic finance, ESG, and the mobilization of green financing. A notable achievement was the first-ever international certification of financial market specialists conducted in Tajikistan. In his address, Isfandiyor Shukurzoda emphasized that the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of climate and green finance could be mutually beneficial for both countries — by attracting greater volumes of foreign investment and expanding the regional market.
The exchange of experience with the Securities and Exchange Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran will help us accelerate the introduction of modern financial instruments, including Islamic and green financing mechanisms, as well as improve the quality of supervisory practices, ”highlighted Faiziddin Sattor Kakhkhorzoda, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan. The “Bridge of Trust and Development” Forum proved to be a practical platform for knowledge and experience exchange, as well as for developing concrete steps toward the modernization of the national financial infrastructure.
