On June 24 of this year, a solemn gathering dedicated to the 28th anniversary of National Unity Day was held in the conference hall of the central office of the Committee.
At the beginning of the event, the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Isfandiyor Shukurzoda, read the congratulatory message of the Chairman of the Committee, Bahodur Sheralizoda. The address emphasized that National Unity Day is one of the great and sacred historical dates of our country and is celebrated as an invaluable achievement of the period of state independence, in an atmosphere of peace, harmony, and mutual understanding.
It was also stressed that this priceless historical value was achieved thanks to the dedication and tireless efforts of the wise son of the nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and for 28 years it has been guiding us toward a safe and bright future.
At present, not only the people of Tajikistan but also the international community are well aware that all these unique achievements of the Tajik nation were not gained easily. It is highly important that today Tajikistan and its people are recognized by the international community as a state committed to peace and progress.
It was noted that the staff of the environmental protection bodies actively participate in political and social activities, awareness-raising and outreach work, contributing to friendship, unity, and cohesion among the citizens of the country.
