On June 22, 2025, the Tirgon Festival was celebrated in the “Iram” Park in Dushanbe, featuring the Apricot Festival and the exhibition “Dried Fruits of Tajikistan.” Dozens of products from fruit processing enterprises, packaged in high-quality packaging, were presented at the festival venue. Various types of apricots and apricot-based products—juices, drinks, dried fruits, and compotes—were also offered to the residents and guests of the capital.
As is well known, Tirgon is one of the four oldest festivals of our ancestors, alongside Nowruz, Sada, and Mehrgon, and is also referred to as the farmers’ holiday.
At the event, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Ziyozoda Sulaimon Rizo, read out the congratulatory message of the Founder of Peace and National Unity—the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon—dedicated to the Tirgon Festival.
Active participants in the event were awarded Diplomas and Letters of Appreciation, including representatives from the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Thanks to the attention and care of the esteemed Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, and the independence gained by the country, many national holidays have been revived and presented to the global community, demonstrating the ancient roots and cultural sophistication of the Tajik people.
