Scientists and specialists of the Vakhsh Experimental Station of Soil Science and Land Reclamation held a meeting with the heads and representatives of dehkan (farm) holdings in Khatlon Region.
During the meeting, participants were provided with scientifically based practical recommendations on combating soil salinity, the efficient use of irrigation water in cotton cultivation, increasing the humus content of soils, and improving soil fertility.
In addition, the agricultural producers received specific recommendations on the proper application of organic and mineral fertilizers, adherence to crop rotation practices, and the implementation of modern agronomic measures aimed at increasing the productivity of agricultural crops.
