On June 7 of the current year, a practical seminar entitled “Soil Health as the Most Important Factor in the Production of Environmentally Friendly Agricultural Products” was held at the Tillo Boboev Botanical Garden in the city of Kulob. The seminar was organized based on the instruction of the institute's management and in coordination with a request from the Public Organization “Women and Land”.
The purpose of the seminar was to develop participants’ understanding of the agrochemical properties of soils and the importance of maintaining soil health, to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in sustainable soil management methods, to demonstrate simple field techniques for assessing soil conditions and agrochemical characteristics, and to provide brief information on the results of soil analyses conducted on the lands of partner beneficiaries from four districts of Khatlon Region.
Representatives of partner organizations from pilot districts participated in the event, including the Public Organization “Zam-Zam” from Muminobod District, the Public Organization “Yokhsu” from Khovaling District, the Public Organization “Dunyoi Muhabbat” from Mir Said Ali Hamadoni District, and the Public Organization “Alternative” from Shahritus District.
