It should be noted that for several years the Republican Contest “Furughi Subhi Donoi Kitob Ast” (“The Book is the Radiance of Enlightenment”) has been held throughout the country under the patronage of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
The organization of this contest contributes to increasing the younger generation’s interest in reading, strengthening their intellectual potential, identifying new talented speakers and literary enthusiasts, and fostering respect for national and cultural values.
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, from January 1, 2026, the contest is being conducted among students of general secondary education institutions, students and undergraduates of primary, secondary, and higher vocational education institutions, postgraduate students, teachers of all levels of education, scientific and literary employees of research and creative institutions, representatives of culture and the arts, adults, representatives of various professions, and other segments of the country’s population.
Today, the award ceremony for the winners of the district stage of the Republican Contest “Furughi Subhi Donoi Kitob Ast” was held at the Executive Body of State Authority of the Shohmansur District of Dushanbe City.
For her active and exemplary participation, Mohira Ato Izatullozoda, a researcher at the Department of Soil Monitoring and Soil Protection from Erosion of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences, was awarded a diploma of honor and a monetary prize for securing second place in the nomination “Modern Tajik Literature” among representatives of various professions and other segments of the population. The award was presented by the Chairman of Shohmansur District of Dushanbe City.
At the conclusion of the event, appreciation and gratitude were expressed to the leadership of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences for preparing highly qualified scientific personnel. A Letter of Appreciation from the Chairman of Shohmansur District of Dushanbe City was also presented.
