Preparation of highly qualified specialists in the field of agriculture remains a priority of the state and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The leadership of the Tajikistan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, as well as the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, also continuously plays an important role in implementing this constructive initiative. In this regard, yesterday an assessment of the readiness level of the scientific research works of second-level master’s students specializing in “Agrochemistry and Soil Science” and “Land Reclamation and Water Management” was conducted.
Scientists and specialists of the field, research supervisors, as well as a representative of the Department for Training Scientific Personnel of TAAS participated in the discussion of the readiness of the students’ research works before their defense. Based on the implementation of research activities and the results achieved to date by the master’s students, each of whom presented the main aspects of their work, the participating scholars made relevant assessments and conclusions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, useful recommendations were provided for addressing existing shortcomings, as well as for aligning the master’s theses with the guidelines and recommendations of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
