The staff of scientists and specialists of the Vakhsh Experimental Station of Soil Science and Land Reclamation
With the participation of the Director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan, Zebinisso Bobokhoniyon, as well as scientists and specialists, cotton was sown on an area of 10 hectares at the Vakhsh Experimental Station of Soil Science and Land Reclamation. Of this area, 8 hectares were planted with the cotton variety “Maya (MAY)” and the remaining 2 hectares with the “Lima” variety.
It should be noted that, at the same time, an experimental plot of a second-year doctoral student of the Department of Agrochemistry, Suniya Abdusubhon, has been established on the station’s cotton fields. The research topic is “The effect of phosphorus fertilizer rates applied by the linear method on cotton yield,” covering an area of 0.9 hectares. Ongoing scientific studies are being conducted on cotton varieties “Maya-500” and “Kubodiyon-30” under the supervision of Candidate of Agricultural Sciences Zebinisso Bobokhoniyon.
As observed from the progress of the work, in order to implement scientific achievements into production, the plans and scientific activities of scientists and young specialists in the agricultural sector at this station are constantly monitored by the leadership of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan and responsible authorities.
