On September 3, 2026, a ceremonial event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in Jayhun District.
The event was organized as part of the preparations for the достойное celebration of this important historical date and was aimed at strengthening national pride, patriotism, and respect for state values.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the working group, heads and employees of state institutions, representatives of the public, and residents of Jayhun District.
One of the main events was held in the assembly hall of General Education Institution No. 53 in Jayhun District. During the event, the residents of the district were congratulated on the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the country's major achievements during the years of independence were highlighted.
The event was attended by and addressed by S. Kh. Zuhurzoda, Director of the Agency for State Procurement of Goods, Works and Services under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In his speech, S. Kh. Zuhurzoda, on behalf of the management and employees of the Agency, sincerely congratulated the residents of Jayhun District on the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The Director of the Agency emphasized that state independence is the greatest historical achievement of the Tajik people and has created a solid foundation for the development of statehood, the strengthening of peace and stability, the improvement of living standards, and the implementation of constructive initiatives.
It was noted that significant changes have taken place in all spheres of public life in the country during the years of independence. The implementation of development programs and the expansion of social and economic infrastructure contribute to the sustainable development of the country's regions.
The Director of the Agency also highlighted the Agency's contribution to the implementation of constructive initiatives and the development of social infrastructure in Jayhun District.
In particular, with the support of the Agency, a new building of the District Palace of Culture was constructed and commissioned in Jayhun District. This facility is one of the important social and cultural institutions of the district and provides greater opportunities for cultural events, the development of creative groups, and meaningful leisure activities for residents.
It was emphasized that the implementation of such projects clearly demonstrates that the development of social infrastructure and the creation of достойные living conditions for the population are among the important priorities of the state's constructive policy.
The event also highlighted the role of civil servants and Agency employees in ensuring the effective functioning of the public procurement system. It was noted that professionalism, responsibility, and conscientious performance of official duties by each employee are of great importance for the further improvement of public procurement and the efficient use of public funds.
As part of the festive program, a concert featuring creative groups and artists was held, adding a special atmosphere to the event and further enriching the celebrations.
Particular attention was also paid to the social support of certain groups of the population. On behalf of the management of the Agency for State Procurement of Goods, Works and Services under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, financial assistance was provided to a number of citizens in need.
